PRE-CARE TIPS

*Avoid Blood-Thinning Medications: Refrain from consuming alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, and other blood-thinning medications for at least 24-48 hours before the procedure.

* No Caffeine: Avoid consuming excessive caffeine on the day of your procedure, as it can contribute to increased sensitivity.

*Avoid Sun Exposure: Do not expose your skin to direct sunlight or use tanning beds for at least a week before the procedure.
*Avoid Facial Treatments: Avoid any facial treatments like chemical peels, laser treatments, or microdermabrasion for at least two weeks before your appointment.
* Do Not Wax or Pluck
* No Botox or Fillers: If you receive Botox or dermal filler treatments, it’s best to schedule them at least two weeks before your microblading appointment.
* Avoid Retinol and Vitamin A: Refrain from using retinol or products containing Vitamin A on your brow area for at least a week before the procedure.
* Avoid Caffeine and Alcohol: On the day of the procedure, avoid consuming caffeine and alcohol, as they can increase sensitivity and affect the procedure’s outcome.
* Avoid Blood Thinners: Aspirin, ibuprofen, and any other blood-thinning medications should be avoided 24-48 hours before the procedure to reduce the risk of bleeding.
* Hydrate: Drink plenty of water
* Dress in comfortable clothing
* Plan Your Day: Plan to have a calm and stress-free day before and after your appointment.
* Keep your lips hydrated and exfoliate your lips with sugar scrub

LIPS: you have been prone to any type of cold sores (herpes Symplex virus) or you may have the herpes simplex virus that lies dormant in your system, this procedure could cause an outbreak. It is best to consult with doctor and upon your doctor’s recommendation, take doctor prescribed medication such as Acyclovir, zovirax, or valtrex before and after the lip procedure to help prevent or lessen the severity of an outbreak.

Permanent makeup may not be suitable for:

Unrealistic Expectations: People with unrealistic expectations or those who cannot commit to the aftercare and maintenance may not achieve the desired results.

* Avoid accutane in the six months prior to the beginning your treatment sessions.
* Skincare Products: Avoid using retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), and other harsh exfoliants for about a week before the procedure.
* Avoid IPL/ laser, waxing, botox procedures at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment
* No Active Skin Infections: Postpone your treatment if you have active skin infections, cold sores, or any other skin conditions in the treatment area.
* Hydration: Keep your skin well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water
* Medications and Supplements: Consult your healthcare provider about any medications or supplements you’re taking, as some might increase bleeding or affect the healing process.
* Clean Skin: On the day of the procedure, arrive with clean skin, free from makeup, sunscreen, or any other products.
* Avoid Alcohol and Blood Thinners
* Health Check: If you’re feeling unwell or have a fever, consider rescheduling your appointment.
* Plan Downtime: Plan your schedule accordingly to allow for downtime if needed
